This painting was part of an art challenge I created with a group of artists around the world. The challenge was to create a painting a day for 30 days straight. I blew past day 30 and went to 61. This is day 41. I learned a great deal from this experience. Previously I felt I had to wait until inspiration tapped me on the shoulder like some divine blessing. After day 10 I discovered that I could tap into the subconscious spirit of creativity with persistence. Sometimes the results were underwhelming and other times something very interesting emerged.
