This is another subconscious painting that revealed itself as I painted. First it was an eye. Then another. Next an arm and so on. Before I knew it, a few hours later, I had this. It was so quick and effortless, except it wasn’t. It took a toxic relationship with a very selfish girlfriend to provide me with the subliminal inspiration for this painting. He is trying to separate himself from her toxic love, but she still haunts him.
